User:Hubdb39 - You have been edit warring to add Glenna Sue Kidd to the "notable people" list. Please note that inclusion is for individuals "who were born, or lived for a significant amount of time, in the city", per WP:USCITIES#Notable people. Attending school there does not qualify for inclusion. Please see WP:USCITIES for details.

Both of the sources you cite -- [1], [2] -- state she was born in nearby Choctaw, Arkansas, where she is listed as a notable person.

Please revert your edit. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:20, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Glenna Sue Kidd went to Clinton schools beginning in head start, all the way to graduation at Clinton High School. It's shocking that someone is throwing a fit about this. Shocking.
Her inclusion into the general story of women's professional baseball, including being given a cameo role in the movie A League of Their Own, and this being covered by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette newspaper, stands tall. Again, it's shocking that someone has enough hate in their heart to declare war on such a great story, and one that is documented time and time again. @Hubdb39: Please be civil. Do you have a source supporting that she ever lived in Clinton? If not, please revert your edit. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:49, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're the one who needs to be civil. Stop vandalizing the Clinton, Arkansas page. Hubdb39 (talk) 00:00, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia has guidelines such as having sources for all content. A source is needed to add Glenna Sue Kidd to the Clinton, Arkansas article demonstrating that she lived for a significant amount of time in the city. No one is disputing her inclusion into the general story of women's professional baseball. Just a simple request to follow Wikipedia guidelines.
